I am so thankful God has allowed me to birth and take care of the two beautiful girls I have. I would love to pursue a better relationship with them by teaching them to live life simple and without so much “stuff”. Once we get rid of the “stuff” in our lives we have more “time” for each other.

I love this Alexis, being a mom is an amazing gift!

I am thankful for my son, who helped me to realize we didn’t need all the “stuff” and only the things that made us happy was worth keeping. (Even if I’m having to try to convince my 3 year old that he doesn’t need all 3 of his remote control vehicles). ?
Zoë says
Ha, yes, kids are so funny. I have four 🙂 It’s wonderful when they teach us something too. Thanks for your comment Jone.

I borrowed “The More of Less” from my local library. I thought it was a fantastic book. I have thought about downsizing many times over the years but never could quite part with my ‘stuff’.
Joshua’s book was an excellent motivator. I think it was because there was no formula or strict rules, just simple, straight forward suggestions that did it for me. I also listened to the audiobook. I’ve been cleaning out my home slowly and steadily ever since.
I have been reading other blogs and other books on minimalism since that time and learn something new or am inspired by them all.
I would love to take some of the online courses but not possible at the time.
Thank you for your blog, it is great
